Goody Two Shoes

Talk about frenetic! This is a dance-a-thon that doesn't quit. Truly unique sound that could almost be called rockabilly except for the horns. Note: This is one of those truly bizarre 45 rpm formats that U.S. record companies experimented with in the early 1980s... a species of 45 known as the One Sided Single. For some reason, they came with small holes and a B side label that reads "One Sided Single. Do Not Play This Side." The B side vinyl has an almost-attractive cross-hatched etching to it that conveys the clear message of "This will really screw up your phonograph needle." These format experiments were a last-ditch effort to make pressing 45 rpm vinyl a viable business proposition, but of course it was also a format that no one wanted and was abandoned after only a year or two of selected releases.
