Heartbreak Hotel/ I Was The One

Here's a beautiful copy of Presley's first hit single for RCA Victor (only the second original pressing I've had in the store since opening in 2001!). Unlike his revolutionary Rockabilly singles for Sun Records in 1954 and 1955, "Heartbreak Hotel" was guaranteed top-notch national distribution through his new record company, RCA, so Elvis finally came to the attention of teenagers across the country. The song hit #1, and the rest is history. Curiously, this was a non-album single whose tracks are missing from contemporary Presley LPs. Note: This 45 record comes in a vintage RCA Victor Records factory sleeve. It grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio), with only very minor flaws.
