Originally appeared on an unissued Parkway Records acetate. Here's a very curious example of a tune that clearly should be in Kev Roberts' list of the greatest Northern Soul singles, yet isn't. He does include other unreleased tracks, but for some reason overlooks this one, despite its obvious popularity on the dance floor and clear musical virtues. I hope it's not because the reissues that are available on 45 rpm (like this one) aren't particularly valuable... This reissue is part of a series of 10 "Wigan Casino 25th Anniversary" discs. The flip is another great northern soul rarity from Kev Roberts' book.
