From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original picture sleeve. This was Fagen's first single after the breakup of Steely Dan. It celebrates and daydreams about the International Geophysical Year, a year-long global science project of 1957-58. For more about the I.G.Y., see this Wikipedia article.
