This live version of a tune the singer had hit with back in 1960 (#15r on Federal 12369) didn't do as well on the charts, but it's the one Dave Marsh picks to honor at #603 in his list of the 1,001 greatest singles of Rock'n'Soul. Credited to James Brown And The Famous Flames. "I'll Go Crazy" was originally the B side of this release, but its importance to James Brown's catalog, as well as its greater airplay performance, dictate it be treated as the A side. Note: This copy comes in a vintage King Records factory sleeve. The labels would grade Near Mint, but there's a small "5" on the A side (see scan). The powerful audio on these tracks is pristine Mint.
