Originally released on Asylum 45438. Ronstadt released this excellent version of Buddy Holly's classic in 1977, continuing a string of very successful pop singles based on covers of classic 1950's and 1960's tunes. It's interesting to note that Holly didn't actually have a chart hit with his original version! This is a like-new copy of the Asylum Spun Gold reissue.
