Keep That Man/ Mama (He Treats Your Daughter Mean)

This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the Louise Neal collection. Another of Big Maybelle's recordings clearly demonstrating that Etta James was not the ONLY 1950's-era female RnB singer who could transition successfully to soul music. Both sides are pure treasures of soul... the flip an amazing update on the Ruth Brown original. Note that the label calls Maybelle 'America's Queen Mother of Soul.' Note: This beautiful promo copy grades Near Mint overall, reflecting very light storage wear. The audio, I'm happy to report, is pristine Mint!
