From England comes a new singer with a sound like nobody else... an amalgam of soul, funk, rap, and synth-pop that is truly captivating. The last time I heard a unique blend of styles was also from a U.K. singer, way back in 1972... Joan Armatrading. V.V. Brown's voice is reminiscent of Armatrading's, but her music dances to an entirely different beat.
