That'll Be The Day/ I'm Lookin' For Someone To Love

In addition to its A side, which ranks in the 30s on both the Dave Marsh and Rolling Stones lists, the B side also sits at #465 in Dave Marsh's list of the 1001 singles ever made, so this single makes that list TWICE! Note: This copy comes in a vintage Brunswick Records factory sleeve. The labels have small writing on one side and a sticker on the other, but very little ringwear and strong Maroon and silver colors. The audio is a strong Excellent (just shy of Near Mint) on both sides, with only a tiny bit of surface noise intruding occasionally and bright, undistorted sound. It's worth reminding Buddy Holly fans that the original pressings sound 10 times better than any reissues on vinyl (45 or LP) or CD that I've ever heard. Even with a few minor warts, these original 45s are worth preserving, because they have the versions that are worth remembering!
