This rare single (this is the red-label Tangerine variety) offers two terrific slices of Southern Soul... one variety of which I call "Funky Soul." The A side ("Tighten Up") has no relation to the Archie Bell single of the same name, but it's a terrific dance number too, and the B side ("I Still Believe In You") starts off with an unstoppable groove that I guarantee will make you want to shake your feet! "Lost" 45 tunes I'm listing elsewhere on the site. Note: This copy's labels grade Near Mint with a light touch of storage wear (see scan). The vinyl (styrene) grades Near Mint in appearance, with just some very light surface scuffing to note. The grooves preserve pristine sound, which will knock your socks off! I'm grading the audio Near Mint, however, to reflect one or two spots where I heard a touch of surface noise.
