Although the "B" side became the bigger hit, don't dare think the A side is a track to ignore! I love both sides and would never want to be forced to choose a favorite! The B side started getting airplay in August 1958 on Pop radio, where it eventually peaked at #3; still on Pop radio, the A side started getting played in September and eventually peaked at #27 after 13 weeks. On the Bilozoard RnB Singles chart, audiences began to take notice of Part II in October, and the track eventually went on to top that chart. Note: The label on the A side has light ring wear.
