Now here's an interesting item... This is a special promo release containing a 'shortened version without intro' of the song. I guess Atlantic was disappointed with the reception of the first Sam & Dave single on the Mother label and figured the jive-talk intro was hindering airplay. The ploy didn't work, and Sam & Dave never had another top 40 pop hit afterward.
