This is the second single from the album
Valleys of Neptune, and it's just as good as the first one. Hendrix' sister Janie, who's been instrumental in building the box sets of Hendrix' vinyl singles and other packages, discovered a whole album's worth of original Hendrix studio recordings and proceeded to release the material in early 2010. I haven't heard the album, but I can tell you these 45s are definitely not studio-castoff material. Both tracks here were recorded in 1969. The A side is a first-rate fusion of funk and psych that's truly mesmerizing and brilliantly funky. The B side is not included on the album and is a previously unreleased instrumental. Note: These are new, sealed copies. The 45 has a large spindle hole.
