By the time this single came out, the Monkees had stopped having hits. Clearly, they went back to roots trying to recapture the sound and spirit of their first hit, "Last Train To Clarksville." Like that song, this one was written and produced by Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart. But it's not just a soundalike... the song has charms of its own. This copy comes in the rarely seen picture sleeve for this release. Note: This beautiful 45 record has Mint labels and Near Mint vinyl and audio. The cool picture sleeve grades a strong EX with a bit of ringwear (see scan).
