Still, absence makes the heart grow fonder as they say, and 38 years later this much-loathed Bubblegum nugget sounds pretty damn good. And would it surprise you to know that "Temptation Eyes" didn't even make the national top 10? Certainly, the local Top 40 stations in my home town saturated the airwaves with it, and it was a huge hit there, but I suppose a lot of stations just ignored it. Another thing that may surprise you is that some Northern Soul dance deejays mix this in with their other Northern Soul tunes? It does have
