From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original picture sleeve. This was the Carpenters' second Christmas single... one you don't see very often anymore. Their version of the "Santa Claus" classic is a surprise take, but very much a Carpenters recording. "Merry Christmas Darling" was first released in 1970, when it was a big hit.
