Stereo/Mono promo copy. How could a recording as good as this by the former lead singer and guitarist for the Byrds go completely ignored in 1974? Didn't they know that McGuinn was one of the greatest rock guitarists ever? Didn't they realize how many great songs he wrote with the Byrds, and what a distinctive voice he has? Not to mention what great taste in music he brought to his recordings. Oh well, it's just one of those little mysteries... maybe it was the song's title, which kind of suggests it's just a rehash of the Byrds' sound (which it's not). If this had gotten just a little airplay, I can't imagine it wouldn't be better known today. The copy looks unplayed, but can't claim it with certainty. Other than a little wear on the white label if is a beauty!
