Witchy Woman/ Earlybird

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original Asylum factory sleeve. Trivia alert! Did you know that this was the Eagles first Top 10 hit? It's true. Their first (previous) chart single, "Take It Easy," only got to #12 on the Bilozoard Hot 100 Singles chart! Also interesting is that after "Witchy Woman", it would be more than 2 years before the group once again had a Top 10 hit. The tune that broke through and began the group's Top 10 run from 1974-80 (not counting "Life in the Fast Lane," which stalled at #11 and the group's 1978 Christmas single, which hit #18) was "Best of My Love," which entered the chart in November 1974 and became the group's first #1 hit. By the way, this single has a slightly edited version of a 4:10 album track. Note: This 45 record unfortunately has a little writing on the label (and on the factory sleeve) (see scan), but it has pristine Mint vinyl, and the audio is Mint as well.
