This re-recording of their iconic classic, "Cool Water," was made after the group signed to RCA Victor (1945?). It's a very close reading of their original, released earlier on Decca 46027 and a hit in 1947. (That version was apparently recorded in 1941 but not well known until the group started having hits on RCA Victor.) This RCA Victor single was part of a 3-record 7-inch box set called "Cowboy Classics" that was released, I believe, in 1952. First pressings were made on clear green vinyl. Note: The labels are pristine Mint, and the vinyl looks Near Mint. The audio, though, falls just shy of that mark, with a wee too much surface noise — still, a strong Excellent.
