Russell is mostly remembered as a writer of somewhat schmaltzy hit singles like "Honey" (Bobby Goldsboro), "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia" (Vicki Lawrence), and "Sure Gonna Miss Her" (Gary Lewis & Playboys). However, he also released a number of singles on his own, and this is one of those from his pre-hit-Songwriter days. Unlike most of his hits for others, these two tracks are quite nice Sunshine Pop tunes.  Note: This copy comes in a vintage Monument Records factory sleeve.
