This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the collection. I'm a huge Joe Simon fan, but somehow I've never found a nice original pressing of this one. As a result, this is the first time I've heard the amazing flip, on which Simon sloughs off his Deep Soul persona and heads up an unstoppable Northern Soul dynamo. Yes, "The Girl's Alright..." will definitely win you fans if you spin it for a Northern Soul crowd! Note: This beautiful promo copy has faint storage wear on the A side label, though the B side is spotless (see scan)! The vinyl looks new, with no notable flaws. The quiet A side audio exposes some very faint surface noise, lowering the audio grade to Near Mint; however, you won't hear anything but pure music on the flip, which has Mint audio.
