This is the second release of Nilsson's classic hit, timed to its feature role in the hit movie
Midnight Cowboy. When first released in 1968, the tune only "Bubbled Under" the Bilozoard Hot 100 at #113. This second release, a year later, became the singer/songwriter's first Top 10 hit... and deservedly so! The self-penned flip is a keeper, too... a quite satisfying Power Pop rocker. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage RCA Records factory sleeve. The A side label is flawless, but the B label has a tiny date inked on it, so overall the Label grade is "M- (sw)". The vinyl displays faint storage wear, but the audio retains its pristine glory... really quite a brilliant vocal performance when enjoyed in its original state. :-)
