This is an impossible Jim Croce single to keep in stock -- or even to find in decent condition. I always look, and never find... until now! Croce died tragically in a plane crash in September 1973, and the first single released after his death was the semi-prescient "I've Got A Name." A month later, ABC culled this even more prescient tune from Croce's debut album, "You Don't Mess Around With Jim," and it became his second U.S. chart-topper (following "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown"). Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage ABC/Dunhill Records factory sleeve. The labels have some light storage wear. However, the grooves preserve absolutely stunning, pristine Mint audio!
