You Turn Me On, I'm A Radio/ Urge For Going

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original Asylum Records factory sleeve. Simply brilliant, as Dave Marsh acknowledged in giving this 45 position 158 in his list of the 1,001 greatest singles ever made. If you doubt, have a listen to the mp3 "snippet" of this copy, which has brilliant Mint audio except for one "pop" and a faint touch of surface noise near the beginning. The flip side, "Urge for Going," was unreleased on LP when the single was released. This is still the only place the song is available on vinyl. Note: This copy has light storage wear that lowers the overall grade and the individual grades (Labels, Vinyl, Audio) to Near Mint. The vinyl has been exposed to some environmental heat during its life, causing a darkened pattern along part of the edge while the rest of the vinyl looks untouched. Still, a beautiful copy of an indispensable 45. The audio is Mint for so much of its life that I think a Near Mint grade is warranted, despite the notable "pop" right at the beginning (check out the mp3 "snippet").
