This is a new, unplayed Stereo/Stereo promo copy, in its original Columbia factory sleeve. Bassist William "Bootsy" Collins' had earlier been a part of James Brown's band from 1969-71 and then part of George Clinton's Parliament/Funkadelic troupe starting in 1972. This amazing outing is many genres at once: Rap, Techno, Funk, Metal. Though it flopped at radio at the time, it's well worth seeking out! This version, by the way, is a different mix from and slightly shorter than the 4:21 album cut, which has "The Human Race" as a subtitle, whereas this promo offers the "Street Legal" mix. Note: This promo 45 has light storage wear but plays pristine Mint.
