This special promo release is pressed on purple vinyl. It has the full 5:52 album version on one side and the 3:49 specially edited version that appears on stock copies on the other. This is the second-highest-ranking Prince single in Dave Marsh's list of the 1001 greatest rock'n'soul singles of all time, and it also ranks high on the Rolling Stone magazine's list. This beautiful copy comes in a Near Mint picture sleeve. Note: This 45 record has Mint labels and Near Mint vinyl and audio. The "short" side has a small abrasion that causes some light surface noise for a brief period.
