From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. This terrific number topped both the Black/RnB and Pop charts in the U.S. It's specially edited from a slightly longer (4:26) album track. The B side also received significant airplay but didn't chart separately. Note: This beautiful 45 has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
