Here's a beautiful copy of Sly's first solo single on Autumn Records, where he was producing other acts at the time such as Bobby Freeman and the Beau Brummels. Stylistically, these tracks are all over the place... rock'n'roll, soul, big band jazz, etc. Always interesting and exciting, they provide a glimpse of where this man was coming from musically before his own style gelled into the classic sound of Sly & the Family Stone.
