This classic doesn't appear on any of the "Top Singles" lists that we refer to (Dave Marsh, Rolling Stone, Kev Roberts), but to me it's essential soul and one of the best examples of New Orleans funky soul (courtesy of Allen Toussaint), so it gets 2 stars, our top rating for recommended music. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Bell Records factory sleeve. The labels are reversed, which is why the Label grade is EX rather than M-.
