It will be hard to forget about what happened here in the U.S. at Kent State, as long as this anthem stays among the touchstones of classic rock. Of course, the song wouldn't be remembered as well if Neil Young hadn't provided that unforgettable guitar riff that opens the song. The B side is almost a folk song by now... another unintentional byproduct of the Vietnam War. This copy comes in the single's original picture sleeve: No pictures, really, but one side reproduces the song lyrics, and the other the U.S. Bill of Rights. These tunes were available on 45 rpm only at the time, since the single was rush-released shortly after the Kent State tragedy. The tracks didn't appear on LP until the compilation album "So Far" in 1974.
