Here's a beautiful copy of this single, which sits at #972 on Dave Marsh's list of the 1,001 greatest 45s of Rock'n'Soul. Collector Nerd Alert: This is a rare variant that has the one-line "Indigo Records" logo but also shows producer and arranger credits below the catalog number. Most pressings with this logo don't show those credits, but the first pressing, which has a two-line logo, does. So I infer that this was the first one-line logo pressing, and that the common variant with no credits came later. Note: This copy's A label looks Mint (see scan) but grades Near Mint to reflect a faint "49" inked lightly on the black background (visible in the right light); the B label has a touch of ringwear. The vinyl looks Near Mint with some very light scuffing and a couple of tiny abrasions, and the audio grades Near Mint as well.
