Now here's an interesting case... I naturally assumed that this was a reissue--after all, the sleeve says "2 Hits On Every Record", right?--but I hadn't heard it before and couldn't find it listed in any of the charts. Then I read on a U.K. Northern Soul site that it was in fact issued by Virgo in 1973 on demand from U.K. fans who wanted to be able to spin their own copy. You see, the song was originally released on a 1965 Dynovoice LP but never appeared on 45 rpm... until 1973! The single was pressed in limited quantities and never reissued, so it's getting hard to find. And after listening to it, I can certainly see why it's in demand! The flip is a Toys cover of the Lennon-McCartney classic, presumably from the same 1965 LP.
