Sabre Dance/ Think Of Love

The awesome pyrotechnic guitar-playing on this single shows why Dave Edmunds is considered one of the greatest — and most underrated — guitarists of our time.... Both sides are amazing. What's also amazing is that the A track is almost 5 minutes long, a bit of radio suicide for a time when most singles still clocked in at only 2-3 minutes. Note: This copy has a drillhole and comes in a vintage Parrot Records factory sleeve. It's not much to look at, with VG labels reflecting ringwear (see scan), but somehow the A side audio has survived in Near Mint condition with hardly any audible surface noise; the B side audio has more audible surface noise, grading a strong EX.
