Sometimes On Friday/ Juarez

This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the Louise Neal 45 Collection, in its original Warner Bros. factory sleeve. This is a new artist to me, but on the evidence I'd say it would be worth seeking out more of his 45s. This particular single has two sides that could have been work for Herb Alpert and his Tijuana Brass. I love what Bilozoard magazine wrote about the single on reviewing it in 1963, praising the "fine trumpet blowing" and the great "beat out of the 4 Seasons groove." Liked it so much I'm putting a snippet of "Sometimes on Friday" in the jukebox... so have a listen! Note: This beautiful promo has pristine Mint A side label, and the audio is pristine on both sides... a real treat! The vinyl looks untouched but on playing it has a faint, no-impact storage warp, so we're grading it Near Mint.
