True/ Gently

Along with Wham! and Culture Club, Spandau Ballet were one of a fairly large crop of white English soul groups who dominated the airwaves in the early 1980s. I suspect it reflects the intense, abiding passion among British musicians and fans for 1960s and 1970s U.S. soul music... a passion, sadly, that hasn't been shared so intensely by their counterparts—both black and white—in the U.S. Although quite long already at 5:40, this single has an edited version of the 6:30 album cut. Note: This beautiful 45 record has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio), and the picture sleeve is nearly flawless!
