Starting All Over Again/ It Hurts To Want It So Bad

Dave Marsh is absolutely correct to pinpoint this as one of the highlights of early 1970's soul music. Be sure to check out the equally angelic B side of this great single. Both sides were recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. The A side, by the way, is slightly edited from a 4:10 album version, and the B side appears to be a non-album cut, as it's missing from the duo's 1972 Stax album. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Stax Records factory sleeve. It has Mint labels, and the vinyl looks Near Mint. The gorgeous audio plays Near Mint as well, with a touch of surface noise early on.
