Seven Little Girls Sitting in the Back Seat/ Worshipping An Idol

This 1959 novelty tune was Evans' biggest hit as a solo artist. Here he's got "and The Curls" (a female singing group) backing him up. Paul Evans had more luck as a songwriter, penning such hits as "Roses Are Red" for Bobby Vinton and "When" for the Kalin Twins. This is a beautiful Near Mint copy on the black ink-only label (see scan).
