Listening to Part 1, you might think Chess was presenting Billy as purely an instrumentalist, since you hear no peep from his pipes. But then Part 2 finds that he had a distinctive vocal style even at this early stage of his career. Fabulous! Note: This is the first pressing--Stewart's first appearance on vinyl--which came out 3 months before it was rereleased on Argo. Note: This copy has lovely labels with a couple of small flaws... a little faint writing on one side and a small numbered sticker on the other. The vinyl looks Near Mint with a few light scuffs.
