Here's a rare single from Australian Duke Baxter, who put only this one tune in the U.S. hot 100. It's a great uptempo, soulful recording, but actually pales in comparison to the truly hot B side. Baxter really lets loose with the vocals, and the punchy horn and string arrangement by Tony Harris is distinctive and exciting. A clear winner! Note: Styrene pressing.
