This is an original promo copy from the
Louise Neal 45 Collection. The A side is a decent RnB ballad, but the real story here is the Northern Soul-style ballad on the flip: Killer rhythm section, wide open audio, great vocals and song — a definite keeper for those moments when you want to turn the beat down for awhile. Note: This 45 is among those in the Neal collection that she may have actually played, but no more than once or twice I would guess. The A side label has two lavender "x" marks on it, but otherwise the labels are bright and clean with a bare minimum of visible wear (see scan of B side). The vinyl (styrene) has a few light scuffs on it, grading Near Mint. The A side audio is pristine Mint during most of the track; a small scuff toward the end causes a few brief instances of light background noise. The B side audio is similarly loud, open, and crystal clean at the opening and through most of the track. Overall, I'm grading the audio Near Mint.
