This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the collection. Dan Penn, writer or co-writer and producer of so many classic Deep and Funky Soul tunes, lets loose solo-style on this very early Fame release. The A side is a catchy mid-tempo Northern Soul style number, while the flip is a fine Deep Soul ballad. Penn has a surprisingly good voice, reminding me of B.J. Thomas, and the totally clean audio on both sides of this pristine styrene pressing is a real treat! Note: This beautiful copy is pristine Mint except for a red star stamped on the A side label and some very light storage wear on the bright white labels (see picture).
