Once You Hit The Road/ World Of My Dreams

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original Warner/Reprise factory sleeve. Two sides of amazing... The A side was a big hit in the Black/RnB market, but for some reason this gorgeous slice of Philadelphia Soul (in this case, courtesy of Thom Bell) just didn't catch on in Pop radio. After two listens, I'm a big fan, and I also love the tuneful ballad on the flip! By the way, both sides are specially edited from longer album tracks of 4:03 and 3:59, respectively. Note: This copy has light storage wear that lowers the Vinyl (styrene) grade to Near Mint (an inconsequential hairline), and a touch of surface noise near the beginning that lowers the Audio grade to Near Mint... it's Mint for most of the track.
