Rescue Me/ Soul of the Man

Here's a beautiful specimen of the rare maroon-label pressing of this soul classic. There were several pressings of "Rescue Me," and this is the one of the rarest variants: It has a maroon label and silver print, with "Checker" running vertically on the left. This variant also has, in my opinion, the nicest typesetting and text layout of all the variants on red/maroon labels I've seen. Don't you think? Note: This copy has a drillhole, but the labels are otherwise pristine-looking. The vinyl (styrene) looks untouched, and the audio grades Near Mint.
