Do Wah Diddy Diddy (EP)

This cool EP starts out with the group's biggest hit, which revived an obscure Jeff Barry-Ellie Greenwich tune that had failed to get airplay earlier in the year for girl group The Exciters. (The Exciters version, titled simply Do-Wah-Diddy, reached only #78 when released in January of 1964.) The second song on the A side is an original from the group's debut U.K. album. The B side covers two classic RnB numbers —"Take It To Jerome" (Bo Diddley) and "Got My Mojo Working" (Muddy Waters). Note: The EP was a promo only, and issued without a picture cover.\r\n
