Originally released on Vee Jay 587. This is a copy of the 1965 Oldies 45 reissue of one of the group's seldom-seen singles. This single is one of several whose licensing was grabbed by other U.S. companies before Capitol finally got wise. It was never released as a single in the U.K. The songwriting credits on both sides are listed as "McCartney-Lennon," an error that I assume John soon set to rights (especially since he was the primary author of both songs!). :-) The B side, by the way, is a rarity that didn't appear on any Beatles album until a 1978 compilation. Besides appearing on this U.S. single, it was released on 45 rpm in the U.K. on the B side of "From Me To You." Note: This copy comes with a vintage Oldies 45 factory sleeve.
