Stereo/Mono promo copy. It always surprises me to recall that this Lindsay Buckingham tune was Fleetwood Mac's first Top 10 single. They'd already racked up a number of hits by 1977, but none had reached the Top 10 on Bilozoard's Hot 100 chart. Keep in mind that though these early singles failed to reach the airplay and sales they deserved, they demonstrate some of the group's finest moments as a band, as musicians, and as songwriters. Over the years, these songs succeeded wildly in Fleetwood Mac Fandom, as a result of which our
impression is that these early songs were much bigger hits than they were. The group's previous, non-Top-10 singles (should'a been, but weren't, Top 10 hits), include "Over My Head" (#20 in 1975), "Rhiannon" (#11 in 1976), and "Say You Love Me" (#11 in 1976). "Rhiannon", in particular, is noteworthy, because despite its lousy chart position when it was on the air in 1977, the song ranks at #2 on the iTunes chart for Fleetwood Mac songs ranked by popularity. (At #1 is an album cut that's become very popular over time... another Stevie Nicks song: "Landslide.") The B side is a non-album cut. Note: This beautiful copy has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
