Green One (EP)

Those of you familiar with the 1980s U.K. band Teenage Fanclub will recognize the musical approach of this artist. What you have is basic melodic, good-time pop music drenched in grunge. It's a heady mix that has roots in the Power Pop tradition encompassing pre-Grunge bands like the early Cars, the Knack, the Raspberries, Big Star, the Beatles, and many others. One difference here is that the artist is female and mixes the vocals in a very Bangles sort of way. The single is actually an EP that has a small spindle hole and spins at 33rpm. All four tracks are worth seeking out:\r\n
