John, I'm Only Dancing/ Hang On To Yourself

This great early Bowie track was a hit in England, but wasn't released on 45 rpm in the U.S. The B side of this U.K. single became the B side of the U.S. release of "The Jean Genie," which was the hit that followed this one in the U.K. Both of these tunes show why the early Bowie was so closely associated with the "Glam Rock" genre... some of this sounds just like T. Rex. Note: This single has a small spindle hole with a "knock-out" perforation provided for a large hole. It comes in a vintage RCA Records (U.K.) factory sleeve.
