Jumbo/ The Singer Sang His Song

The A side was the group's first relative flop here in the States, and I can't help but think it's because the track is so .... un-Bee Gees. I mean, it's actually got a couple of electric guitars prominently featured, as well as drums you can hear. :-) The flip would probably have done much better for them... It's another gorgeous ballad, sung in the expected tremulous vocal style for which the Gees had become known. In fact, the flip did "bubble under" for awhile. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Atco Records factory sleeve.
