Stereo/Mono promo copy. From this very auspicious debut, it seemed like Stephen Stills was going to leave a hit-filled legacy from his solo career. But despite many excellent singles through the years, this turned out to be his biggest hit and one of only two to crack the top 40. Now, I'm not saying this is a failing on Stills' part... not at all! It's just a commentary on the decline of vision in top 40 radio through the 1970's. Background vocals feature Rita Coolidge, David Crosby, Graham Nash, and John Sebastian. Note: This 45 record comes in a vintage Atlantic Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels with a whisper of ringwear. Although the vinyl has some notable scuffs, the audio comes through Near Mint with almost no surface noise.
